Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) updated its 2019 notification for the Group D exam<\/strong> on June 15, 2021<\/strong>. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to join government service. RRB Group D Notification 2021<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The RRB Group D official notification was released in 2019. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the exams had been indefinitely postponed. The exam was scheduled to be held once again in April 2021; however, this was postponed again. The exam schedule is expected to be announced soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RRB Group D 2021 Vacancy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

RRB has announced an updated vacancy of 1,03,769 openings <\/strong>for the Group D posts of Track<\/strong> Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper\/Assistant, Assistant Pointsman<\/strong>, Level-I posts in this cycle of the recruitment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RRB Group D 2021 Exam Pattern<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The RRB Group D exam will be conducted in 3 phases. They are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Written\/CBT <\/li>
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)<\/li>
  3. Document Verification and Empanelling <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Written Test\/CBT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The written CBT (Computer Based Test) will be held for 100 marks. 100 objective type questions will be assessed for 1 mark each. 90 minutes will be allotted for the same. The pattern for the written exam is as follows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Negative marking: There will be a negative marking of 1\/3rd<\/sup> mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Physical Efficiency Test (PET)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Candidates who qualify the CBT stage will be invited for the Physical Efficiency Test. Here, 3 candidates per vacancy will be called. So, for example, if there are 100 vacancies, 300 candidates will be called. The criteria for qualifying male and female candidates has been specified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Document Verification (DV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    On the basis of their performance in the former two stages, candidates will be asked to verify their documents in the final stage. Here, two candidates per vacancy will be called. So, for example, if there are 100 vacancies, 200 candidates will be invited to the final stage of assessment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
