In the time of the second wave of Covid-19, when millions of people are facing recession these kinds of opportunities are a golden chance for you to make your career.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On April 1, 2021, EMRS announced a notification to fill 3400 vacancies in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) in 16 states across the country.<\/strong> This announcement is giving you a chance to work with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt of India covering more than 50% of India i.e., in 16 states of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before going into the details of the notification you must be aware of what is EMRS and why you should apply for this post?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is EMRS?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) was established in 1999 to extend a more focused approach to the integrated socio-economic development of the Scheduled Tribes (STs), India&#8217;s weakest section, in a coordinated and planned manner. Since its inception, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs has worked to implement a variety of initiatives aimed at improving the overall well-being of tribal people across the country. Among these, the Ministry has focused on providing quality education to ST students, as educational development is a stepping stone to economic and social development, as well as the most effective instrument for overall empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) for ST students have been set up to establish quality residential schools and promote education in all areas and habitations across the country. EMRS Scheme encompasses Eklavya Model Residential Schools, Eklavya Model Day Boarding Schools, and the Centre of Excellence for Sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is to provide high-quality upper primary, secondary, and senior secondary education to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) students in rural areas, allowing them to take advantage of the best educational opportunities and bringing them up to par with the general population (as mentioned in the official notification).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joining A Profession with such a noble cause is a dream to many!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What does the EMRS Recruitment 2021 Say?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has begun accepting online applications for 3400 vacancies in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across the country, including Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs, and TGTs. This is a wonderful opportunity for applicants who have been seeking a teaching job in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs&#8217; Eklavya Model Residential Schools. According to the notice, the selection will be made through a written examination to be held sometime in the last week of May or the first week of June 2021. From April 1 to April 30, 2021, the online registration window is open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the EMRS-Teaching Staff Selection Exam at the national level. The recruitment drive is being carried out in collaboration with the respective States to meet the growing demand for teachers in the operational schools and schools that will commence their operations this year, after excluding posts currently occupied by regular and ad-hoc\/contractual staff. Teachers will be hired on a state-by-state basis, depending on where the schools are located and will be open to all qualified candidates who have a domicile certificate issued by the state&#8217;s competent authority.
