The document lays down the framework demarcating fundamental political code, structure, procedures, powers, and duties of government institutions and sets out fundamental rights, directive principles, and the duties of citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n

The constitution was drafted by the <\/span>Constituent Assembly<\/b>, which was elected by the elected members of the provincial assemblies. <\/span>Dr. B. R Ambedkar <\/b>was the chairman of the drafting committee that was responsible for preparing the constitution.<\/span><\/p>\n
