This extends the upper age limit for appearing in the exam. For instance, Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates get 5 extra years, while Other Backward Classes (OBC) get 3 years. Other desirable but not mandatory requirements for this post include:\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of one year&#8217;s research experience in a recognized university or research institution.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SSC CGL Exam Syllabus<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the CGL exam through a two-tier computer-based testing process:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tier-I:<\/strong> This is the first level of the exam.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tier-II:<\/strong> Candidates who qualify in Tier-I proceed to Tier-II.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The SSC might conduct the computer-based exams in multiple sessions or shifts.
