The exam, which is conducted almost every year by the RBI, is a dream job for many candidates- right from freshly graduated students to working professionals across various disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have come up with the expected dates for this year\u2019s RBI Grade B Exam. The Phase 2 exam consequently will be held on <strong>June 11, 2023<\/strong>. It carries a weightage of 80 marks. However, the difficulty level of the GA section has been increasing for the last 2 years. Thus it is important to analyze the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ixambee.com\/previous-year-question-paper\/rbi-grade-b-phase-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RBI Grade B previous year question papers<\/a>. <\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The analysis will help us understand the types of questions asked in the exam. It is a blend of both static and conceptual questions. Also, the time to answer the questions is very less which makes it very difficult to score even 50% marks in this section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To overcome the difficulties, it is important that you read quality current affairs content from reliable sources. However, despite getting good marks in other sections of Phase 1, and clearing the overall cutoff, many were not able to clear the sectional cut-off of the Reasoning section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hence, it is important to do the basics of all the topics mentioned in the syllabus. One must practice questions of Puzzles, Input-Output, and other major topics, but must not leave other topics unprepared. The quant section is manageable as the topics are fairly easy if one tries to understand the concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the last 2 years, RBI has been relying a lot on conceptual questions unlike the ones asked in the exams like SSC CGL. As there is no real worry about clearing the sectional cut-off for a large number of people. However, if you have a good hold over English, you should capitalize on your advantage to score more in this section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may refer to the <strong>PYQs <\/strong>of the English Section of IBPS PO, RBI Asst, and other similar exams. This will help you understand your weak areas which you can work upon. Do not leave any topic in this section, as it will give you the necessary edge over other candidates in clearing the cut-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Previous Year Cut-offs of RBI Grade B <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Overall cutoffs of the last 2 years have been in the range of 60s. This clearly shows the higher difficulty level in the exam. The cut-off has also been more than 120 at one time. So, you should not really pay much attention to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ixambee.com\/exams\/rbi-grade-b-previous-year-cut-off\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RBI Grade B previous cut-offs<\/a><\/strong>, as they could change according to the difficulty level of the exam on the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the Sectional cut-offs have been around 15% to 20% of the total marks of the paper. Thus, if the paper seems difficult, you may try and target at least 25% of the total marks in the exam.
